Traveling / Outside Sales Representative
Dakota Textiles is seeking an experienced, self-driven individual with the ability to problem solve, plan and manage their time as they professionally represent our company and values in selling our products to retail shop owners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for bringing the newest fabric collections of Dakota Textiles to our shops and customers in North and South Carolina
- Ability to network, build relationships with customers and assist in purchasing products and planning projects
- Be knowledgeable about our products
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
- Travel the territory to meet with customers to introduce Fabric lines, Notions and Home & Gift products
- Assist customers in purchasing and planning
- Full Time position in the North and South Carolinas

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of the fabric industry / experience in sewing
- Ability to travel and be away from home for multiple days (Not a 9 to 5 job)
- Self motivated
- Experience in sales and/or the fabric industry
- A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Computer efficiency is a plus
- Excellent communication
- Problem solving skills
EXPECTATIONS:
- Travel 2 - 4 days per week
- Meet weekly sales goals
